Seconds
As I stare down into
this paper of white
I can see nothing plain in sight
My pen writes down what my soul yells out
For only some here does it really count
My mind is bursting yet empty at the same time
Where are the words with rythmic rhyme?
As the city sleeps I sit wondering
Lightning bolts and sky's thundering
In a second or two the world changes
Where and how you ask, the possibilites of endless ranges
In countries here and far wars are still waged
Everywhere on Earth people are still paged
Yet a life or two will never be the same
Because they took for granted life they called a game
So in a second or two, everthing could change
In your book of life, you turn another page
Closer and closer you get towared the end
The more you realize its right around the bend
Then one day its all over and then you die
During your funeral, someone MIGHT cry.
